New Balance does make great shoes- they hold saucony guide up pretty well and they are cushy and wide for those of use without narrow feet. I'll admit though it is funny how if you don't want to wear nice loafers or something with jeans you can throw on classic new balances and that somehow is acceptable. On a side note- is all this anti-semitism crap for real. I'm pretty knew to this blog but it seems that there are two types who seem to dominate- illiterate racists who invoke christianity as a convoluted justification and smarmy dipshits who say things like transubstantiating jesus blood drinkers rather than simply calling a duck a duck and saying christian. If you fall into this group, you must definitely suck and should not wear new balances because there sweet wide comfort would infringe upon your anal retentive lifestyles- have a nice evening!

This one is also bad. New Balance is a SUPERIOR brand to Nike. Maybe the sweatshop thing had something to do with it because I understand wp like to do some charity while they shop, but New Balance is more comfortable than Nike, has less BULLSHIT than nike, it is all around BETTER. You are hating on white people for making a good consumer choice for once??? Yep, got my New Balance (need new ones though mine are 3 years old and shot) and saucony trainers my Keens and some Chacos& nobody else has mentioned Chacos they rock. But they're not pretty shoes, just comfy ones. Oh yeah, and I have some birks too but don't wear them much since I got the Chacos. As a side note, I only payed white people prices for one or two pairs of these shoes& ..I RARELY pay full price. white people do love new balance shoes.

heh i know it was supposed saucony shoes to be funny but heres my real reason for buying new balance. nike sucks. i don't really like seeing tons of nike advertisements. and hearing that X athlete is being paid millions to whore their shoes just pisses me off further. add the fact that many of these shoes end up styled like they were supposed to be worn by space alien attention whores and well, i'll pick the simple and effective new balance shoes instead. Oh my god. This is so good. I seriously bought my first pair of shoes to run in without having been recommended any, I bought New Balance. I raved about them (so comfy etc) and when I went back to buy the same pair when those had kind of died, the model I liked weren't being made anymore. So, i shopped around and didn't like any of the other NB so guess what I bought.

For running, nothing beats saucony running shoes New Balance imo. Their shoes come in various widths for better fitting and they usually take years of virtually anything I've thrown at them to finally require replacement. I couldn't care less about x product being made in y country, but Nikes fall apart on my feet within months. I think white people wear New Balances because the 992 (I think that's what they're on, I switched to Aasics) is one of the few decent looking shoes. It's not a fashion show. It's simply a running shoe that doesn't look like some form of urban day-glo artwork. They're also pretty good running shoes, for marathon training of course. Wow. I have never felt so "with it". I have worn New Balance for about 4 years and had no idea of their status until coming across this blog today.

It doesn't matter where the New Balance shoes are made U.S. or China. They're all the same. By the way, saying White people are the only people who like New Balance is so 15 years ago because 15 years ago or more the only people I see wearing New Balances are White people. Now, I rarely see White people wearing New Balances! These days White people like brands like Adidas, Nike, Asics, Saucony and or some crazy unknown brand like Newton which I've never seen a non-White person wear. HahahaHA! this one is ESPECIALLY funny to me. My boyfriend is black and we make fun of him all the time for wearing New Balances. It's pretty much the only kind of shoes he buys. LMAO! I can't wait to tell him what I found on here. He won't care, he'll just laugh about it and that's why I love him so much. Because he does HIM.

At some point in time they changed the toe box to a wider fit, and the lower end models feel like a chunk of wood. I don't bother with them anymore. Please note: In Germany "New Balance" is almost exclusively worn by Neo-Nazis or more often their girlfriends. The reason being that if combined with pants all that comes to show from the logo is the saucony kinvara "N" in "New Balance", which, since it is put onto the shoes at a 45° angle, looks somewhat reminiscient of the SS-rune symbol as worn by Himmler's (sic!
